Freshly brewed coffee permeates the air, horses neigh powerfully in nearby trailers, and the line of grills smoke while getting ready for the crowd ahead… it must be Rodeo Week. This year marked Archers second time as the Presenting Sponsor the Buckaroo Breakfast, an event that has kicked off Caldwell Night Rodeo 2025 week for 92 years!
What The Buckaroo Breakfast Means To Our Community
The Buckaroo Breakfast is a five-day tradition that brings Caldwell together with hot breakfast, live music, and good ol’ western hospitality. First started in 1933 by the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce as a way to feed cowboys and ranchers, now draws a community-wide celebration that serves thousands of plates filled with pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. From the mayor to Rodeo Queen Royalty, the event brings together familiar faces from all over Canyon County. For us, it’s a tradition that highlights the heart and spirit of Caldwell, Idaho.
Our Role as a Sponsor
As a Presenting Sponsor of the Buckaroo Breakfast, we are proud to help keep this 92-year-old tradition alive and thriving. Being a Presenting Sponsor doesn’t just mean showing up to flip pancakes, it means helping making the event possible by providing vital support and resources. We’re grateful for the chance to give back to a community that has given us so much support over the last five years.
Rolling Up Our Sleeves
Our team was up and ready before the sunrise, each of
us taking on a station. (Krisdy, our marketing director, barely escaped pancake-mixing duty thanks to Kyle’s suggestion!) We were also thrilled to see our own Miss Teen Rodeo Idaho, Rylee McGehee – whom we’re proud to sponsor – join in on the fun, saying hello and even flipping some pancakes. It was a highlight to see multiple Rodeo Queens together, connecting with the community right alongside us.
Excitement Every Year
This event is one of our favorite traditions because it gives us the chance to support the town that has supported us since the very beginning. It’s a time to reconnect with familiar faces, shake hands with new ones, and kick off rodeo week on the right foot. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and at the Buckaroo Breakfast, it’s the most memorable.
Until Next Year
We are incredibly grateful for the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce, volunteers, and community members who show up each year. Being the Presenting Sponsor is an honor that we look forward to continuing our support of Caldwell’s traditions for years to come.
