Scott grew up in the Treasure Valley, where he embraced the lifestyle of a true local. His youth was spent fishing, hunting, and camping – when he wasn’t milking cows or doing general farm work at a dairy on the border of Canyon and Ada County. From a young age, Scott was drawn to archery and automotive work – two interests that quickly became lifelong passions. Eventually, those passions inspired the name, Archers Auto Repair.
Scott began his career as a technician at a corporate dealership. Over the next 20 years, he earned his ASE Master Certification and specialized in rebuilding Mopar transmissions, alongside all aspects of vehicle diagnostics and repair. Despite his success, Scott began to question the values of the large, profit-driven companies he worked for. At 44, he made a life-changing decision: to leave the corporate world behind and use his skills to build something more meaningful – something rooted in honesty, integrity, and community.
Starting Archers Auto Repair took a leap of faith. In the beginning, the staff consisted only of Scott and a part-time office assistant. But what they lacked in size, they made up for in heart and hard work. Word spread, and the shop quickly gained a reputation for trustworthy, top-quality service in Caldwell, Idaho. As the business grew, so did the team. Today, Archers Auto Repair is proud to include five highly experienced technicians, three expert service advisors, and one skilled personal assistant – each fully committed to the same core values that Scott founded the shop on.
In 2025, thanks to the overwhelming support from loyal customers and a growing demand for reliable service, Archers Auto Repair proudly expanded with the opening of a brand-new location in Nampa, Idaho. This second shop marks an exciting new chapter – extending our reach while maintaining the same trusted service and family-life atmosphere our customers have come to rely on.
Since 2020, Scott has not only become a seasoned business owner, but also a true leader. His focus on self-improvement and empowering others has helped shape a work environment where both employees and customers thrive. He finds deep fulfillment in knowing that his team feels valued, and that customers return again and again – leaving glowing reviews and putting their trust in the Archers name.
Running a small business isn’t without its challenges, but Scott wouldn’t trade it for anything. For him and the entire Archers team, success isn’t measured by numbers – it’s measured by the relationships they’ve built and the trust they’ve earned within the community.
